A vegan diet has been proven to help with weight loss, get healthier skin, lessen and even cure ailments on top of preventing a bankroll of other diseases and saving animal lives.
Melissaloha, a personal trainer (offering bootcamps + private sessions in San Diego!) and most-of-the-time vegan lent her real-lfe shopping list for a vegan trip to the grocery store. Melissa only sought a plant-based diet in the last year. She does allow herself non-vegan ingredients on occasion, but has seen a difference in energy and health levels from consuming primarily whole foods.

When I first began eating more vegetarian and vegan I started with just one meal and week, and easily moved into days of vegan eating before consuming any dairy or meat. The choice to eat vegan doesn't have to be an all or nothing decision. I have lost weight and feel healthier on the inside when eating plant-based foods, and it makes sense... it's food straight from the earth!
