An impromptu weekday date night landed me a couple blocks down the street from my house at the Patio on Lamont. This upscale outdoor/indoor restaurant boasts a sophisticated food and drink menu with urban, old-school decor and a hint of surfer vibe.
For a classy restaurant in Pacific Beach the prices were rather reasonable, service was friendly and everything was flavorful and delicuous. The only down side is that the place gets busy so reservations are required unless you want outdoor patio or bar seating. Luckily I don't mind either and had an enjoyable experience here.
What I had:
Eats - Pigs in a Blanket Flatbread (pepperoni, pork belly and prosciutto) and Pulled Pork Sliders
Drink - Patio Pop featuring a fruity mix of flavors and garnished with a flame roasted orange peel
Desert - Twisted Elvis featuring warm banana bread, carmalized banana and vanilla icea cream
All was tasty and not too heavy and the restaurant even had SF Giants baseball on TV so that right there is a win in my book. WI would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to step up their pallet or even just bring your pooch to brunch to enjoy discounted chihuahua cocktails. This review is 100% my opinion and I was in no way compensated to document my experience.
